    Rental Terms

*GEB Room rental may require a cleaning deposit of $50 depending on the nature of the function for which it is being rented.  This is a carpeted room and the cleaning deposit is specific for rug cleaning should it be needed as a result of the rental.

Damage & Restoration Deposit: A deposit to pay for damages and time required to restore the space to pre-rental condition may be required.  Any deposit will be returned in full if the rented space is returned to satisfactory pre-rental condition at the end of the rental.  The cost to repair damages (other than normal wear and tear) will be deducted from the deposit and may be billed if they exceed the deposit amount.

Overnight Bunk Rooms: Rental of the bunkrooms is a flat fee that applies regardless of the number of rooms used or the number of people staying in the rooms.  (There are six bunk rooms each containing four built-in bunk beds.)   Bunk room users need to bring sleeping bags or sheets, towels and personal hygiene needs (such as soap, face cloths, shampoo, etc).  We provide pillows, pillowcases and blankets.  Bunk Room rental DOES NOT include Faculty Guest Room or additional Staff/Guest rooms, use of either first floor lobby (except to enter and leave the building), use of the kitchen or kitchen amenities.  Bunk room rental is strictly  limited to the six bunk rooms, one second-floor TV lounge room and the shower facilities accessed from the bunk room hallway.

Party/Wedding Rentals and Rentals Bringing in Food: Experience has shown that when people have food at an event they end up using the kitchen space - whether they had planned to or not.  In light of that, it is our policy that people renting space for parties, wedding or other events at which hot food will be served must rent the kitchen space as well as the event room.

Early Arrival - Late Departure: Rentals are based on arrival and departure times.  Rental requiring more time then the half-day time allows must rent for the full day.

    Entire Building Rental

The "entire" building is defined as all those "public access" spaces including: Dining room, GEB room, south lobby and the upstairs bathroom facilities, bunk rooms, faculty room, staff rooms and TV room.  All storage areas and private use areas (indicated with signs) on the second floor and the office and storages areas on the ground floor are not included in this definition.

Renters must restrict their use to the spaces they contracted to rent.  Should other areas of the building be used, additional fees will be added.
